Over the last 3 months I have tried various different cups with my daughter and here is my review of all the ones we've tried so far.
1. Nuby
This is the first one we tried and she seemed to like it at first, however I soon realized she wouldn't actually drink or of it. She really just liked chewing on the spout. It was however a good cup, it never leaked, and it was easy to clean. If honestly recommend this cup to anyone who wants a traditional sippy cup.
2. Munchkin

After I realized she wasn't a super fan of using a traditional sippy cup we tried this one. We soon realized it was our favorite, well that's until she started throwing her cups. Then it turned out the more she threw it the worse it got. First the inner straw piece would pop out of place causing it to leak, and then eventually it just leaked no matter what. So this one may have worked at the beginning, but it wasn't ready for the abuse from an 8 month old who likes to toss her cups.
3. Nuk
After I realize she loved the straw from the munchkin cup, I set out to find another strawed cup and honestly there aren't many for 9 month olds. So this one is recommended for 12 months and up but I find it to be really easy for her to use. She really likes this cup, it's the only one I've actually gone and purchased more of. It's easy to use, the lid twists close so you can store it without it leaking, and it still has a weighted straw. The weighted straw makes it so she doesn't have to drink the cup any certain way as the water gets closer to empty. The only issue I have found with this cup is, it doesn't have handles which is only a problem when her hands are too wet. I did find a way to meditate this problem though. We ended up ordering silicone handles to put on the cup which have made all the difference. Other than that I have really loved these cups.
4. Munchkin 360

I bought these at the beginning thinking she might like them instead of traditional cups but no matter how many times I've tried she won't use them. I have even got her to drink from open cups but not these, she will instantly throw them.
